Fifteen days in Provence - an inspiration to painters through the centuries. Experience the food, wine, lifestyle and culture of this ancient and breath-takingly beautiful natural environment. Art sessions, plein air, and free painting throughout with instruction and encouragement from Christine Peloquin. For painters and foodies. Companions, friends, spouses of traveling artists are welcomed! We will stay out in the countryside in a collection of stone cottage villas in Sigonce. We will do day trips to Avignon, Aix en Provence, Cassis, Forcalquier market, Verdon Gorge, Luberon, wine tasting at Chateau la Coste, Olive Oil tasting and visits to L'Occitane and the lavender fields. We can plan and flex our time around our own needs and preferences. Our residence has a gorgeous swimming pool and there will be opportunities to hike, browse and peruse at your own pace. We will have our own communal kitchen for casual grazing on local Provencal foods (cold cuts, cheeses, olives, salads, pates, terrines, yoghurts, breads and pastries !!!) as well as meals cooked by our French hosts and dining experiences at local Provencal Restaurants. Meals included in the trip cost: 14 Breakfasts; 3 lunches; 10 Dinners. We will have drivers for our excursions so that we can sit back, relax and take it all in as inspiration for your art, minds and hearts..
