6th Ave Art Studios Presents: For the Love of Summer

6th Ave Art Studios invites artists to participate in our first monthly exhibit which features the love of all things summer. The opening will coincide with the Mount Dora Art Stroll on the second Friday of the month. For the Love of Summer opening will take place on Friday, June 9th from 5:30 to 8 pm and the show will hang until July 8th.

We encourage artists whose work has been accepted for an exhibition to join us for the Exhibit Opening Reception and Meet the Artist, held on the second Friday of the month from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.

6th Avenue Studios is Opening!

I am so excited to announce the opening of my new artist studio and art center! We will be having our first open house on Sunday, October 23rd from 9 am to 5 pm during the Mount Dora Craft Festival. We are 1 door down from Donnelly Ave and the festival. All are invited to come see my new studio and workshop area.

I am so looking forward to creating fantastic work and holding private workshops in this cute cottage that just oozes charm!  Three other fabulous artists rent art studios with me- Heather Earnest, Cindy Anderson and Jennifer Ball.  There are 4 other art studios available for rent ranging from $185 to $240 a month including utilities.  There is a jurying processes by the artists of 6th Ave Studios to ensure the collective aesthetic is maintained. Come by and see us on Sunday or send me the form at the bottom of the page.

Our intention is to be open during all of Mount Dora's great art gatherings and events. The rest of the time we will be working away but scheduling appointments with an artist is highly recommended.
