April 13-14, 2019, Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm
I am adding a new element to my 2D Mixed Media workshop which involves gelli plates, stamping and monoprinting on papers and fabrics in addition to working with collage! We will have all this fun on the first day of the workshop and then spend the second day learning to draw and paint over those pieces. My workshop is designed for one on one time with each student and absolutely all levels are welcomed!
Sofie was on full alert. Art being made in the kitchen!
McRae Art Studios is such a great place to host workshops, especially with my new studio there in the heart of it. And what a fabulous group of women! Thank you for sharing all your great energy!

I had a fantastic time with 7 fabulous ladies this past weekend at McRae Art Studios. Our relatively new studio is huge and beautiful and perfect for teaching. I can't wait to host another one here! Here are some photos of the fun. Thank you ladies for a fun weekend!!!

We have 2 new spaces available for rent available October 1st. One is 9' x 13.5' with a small closet and is on the first floor close to the handicap accessible public entrance and has windows that overlook the backyard. The space rents for $250. The second is 7' x 14.5' and is also on the first floor close to the handicap accessible public entrance. This one is a bargain at $175. Rent includes AC, utilities, wifi and web site presence. Call me at 407.620.4350 to take a better look.
6th Ave Art Studios invites artists to participate in our juried exhibit which features art work about children or about the inner workings of your own inner child. The show is for ages 18 and up. The opening will coincide with the Mount Dora Art Stroll on the second Friday of the month. A Child's Perspective opening will take place on Friday, July 14th from 5:30 to 8 pm and the show will hang until August 5th.
